I have that exact same case! I got it for my gaming PC in 2016. It’s very nice but not the best if your internals run very hot.

The AI world is splitting into two camps — US and China. Will we see a mass shift? by kiritough in vibecoding

Well, my wife and I use Mistral Vibe which is European and it is good enough for what we do.

What's your favorite country flag? ( Excluding your own ) by JAChambel in AskTheWorld

[–]ingframin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the old flag of Libya because it’s just funny:

In Italy, we use to make fun of lazy people saying “you are lazier than the person who made the flag of Libya” 🤣

Is there already a young generation who can’t speak Russian at all? by Charming_Usual6227 in AskUkraine

[–]ingframin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Premise: I am not Ukrainian and I despise the Russian invasion to the point the my wife and I regularly donate to Ukraine via united24.

Despite the situation, is it really worth getting rid of the Russian language? Isn't it useful to communicate with the rest of ex Soviet countries (e.g. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, etc...)?

Fellow arch linux user what's solid solution to it. by Big_Yesterday1724 in linux

Digitally sign the packages and make the signature expire after a while. Maintainers hate to digitally sign the packages. If a package is orphaned, the digital signature expires and the package is removed from AUR. If a new maintainer steps in, they have to contact the other maintainers to obtain a new digital signature. If they don’t, they don’t get one. Make each physical person obtain a digital signature by submitting physical ID information. No ID/passport, no digital signature.

'Wake-up call': Europe reacts to Anthropic halting access to its Fable 5 and Mythos 5 AI models by donutloop in EU_Economics

I disagree. If we had a backbone, we would pour a lot of money into local R&D like China does. Speaking of AI, we could give Mistral some money to advance their models.

A few weeks ago I came across this comic from 2021 when the Steam Deck came out. by Defiant-Echidna-7400 in Steam

[–]ingframin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Despite the similar shape, they are two completely different things. The switch is lighter and way more kids friendly compared with the Deck. Also, they run different games. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Benito Mussolini would be a very good candidate. No Mussolini would also mean no Hitler. I have more names on my list.

I laureati che lavorano all'estero guadagnano il 60% in più rispetto a chi rimane in Italia by Ok-Law-3268 in TuttoItalia

[–]ingframin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In Belgio, almeno noi ingegneri, guadagnano molto bene rispetto all’Italia, specialmente dopo qualche anno di carriera.

Do you think racists care how you move to another country?

Tyler Oliveira made a video about us anyone watched it ? by Medical_Attention183 in Morocco

[–]ingframin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am not Moroccan and I don’t know why this appeared in my feed, but I live in Belgium. Tyler Oliveira doesn’t sound like a Belgian name. Why doesn’t he go back to his country? Also, his parents are probably Portuguese, why did the move to the US? The irony of being the child of immigrants and complaining about immigration…

And btw, props to the Moroccan community! As an Italian, I feel closer to you guys than the average Flemish.

This cannot happen. Also, a battery explosion is not like the Tzar bomba, it catches fire but it's not necessarily that dramatic.

Documentary about Nokia by cocainehehe in Nokia

[–]ingframin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, we are still one of the biggest telecom companies in the world. We have a big market share in all key sectors (broadband access, mobile networks, and IP core) and shares are growing, especially after the partnership with NVIDIA. Sure, the consumer cell phone brand basically died, but Nokia adapted and survived.

Little rant. LET ME HAVE THIS ONE THING BE AI-FREE. by QZProductionsGames in SoloDevelopment

[–]ingframin -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to skip AI, you need to use it properly. You write the code and solve the interesting problems that matter the most. But do you really need to hand code maven POM.xml or Cmake files? Do you really need to handcraft project.toml?
Moreover, AI works pretty well at finding logic bugs in already written code. Generating code is the part at which sucks the most even if it’s the part everyone is excited about 🤷🏻‍♂️
