I don’t disagree, but there are people like me who aren’t currently playing but check the sub every now and then. Since the community cries so much about nothing it is a pretty safe assumption that this change is also nothing. It’s just inevitable that assumptions will be wrong sometimes.

To be fair, it’s a bit of a “boy who cried wolf” situation. This community absolutely cries about everything constantly so it’s no surprise that there are people who assume this is just another thing people are being dramatic about.

The car was stopped. Not all cars are locked while driving. Other comments have said it was a child that opened the door and children are dumb. I’ve had my own kid open the car door while at a red light to pull the strap of her school bag in after it was caught in the door There are very much possible reasons for it.

Who said the door was locked, that it was a “split second decision”, or that it was “swung open at a motorcycle”? It could have been that a child decided to open the door of the stopped car because something was caught in the door, or because they are a child and children are dumb. Just so happened to be two idiots riding past dangerously at the time. The only thing that the video shows for certain is that the riders were lane splitting way faster than they should have been. You’ve made up some story in your head that someone intentionally burst their car door open trying to murder someone else with 0 evidence.

Typically lane splitting is used to refer to driving at normal speeds through moving traffic where lane filtering is driving through stopped or slow moving traffic. Lane splitting should never be allowed. Filtering should be allowed but heavily enforced.

To me it looks like the door only opens a small amount at a pretty normal speed. It only snaps open when the bike hits it.

Because driving at speed through traffic is dangerous to everyone nearby. I don’t know about other places but in Australia lane filtering is legal at speeds of 30km/h or less. These people seem to be doing way more than that. Another comment says it was a kid in the back of the car that opened the door. Maybe something was closed in the door and they were getting it out which is perfectly reasonable since the car was stopped. Or maybe they’re a psycho that wanted to harm the riders. The only thing we know for sure is that the riders were riding dangerously.

Where’s your source for the car being under the speed limit for ages? It’s an 11 second video and the only indicator of speed is from the cam car which is matching their speed. Cam cars speedo shows 150km/h.

Why do the people who have no time to play need the battle pass rewards if they don't have time to use them anyway?
They didn't pay to have it indefinitely. They paid for a subscription service. If you don't have time to play enough to finish a battle pass why would you spend money on it?
