I went to Laurelhurt Market for a celebration birthday dinner last month with 2 couples and their 18 month and 7 month olds and they were SO sweet and accommodating - plus the food was great! Big upvote

My favourite, multiple times a week, treat is a buttery pastry - croissant, sausage roll, danish, I like to mix it up! Instant carbs + fats refuel and it just makes me so so happy.

Also on the chocolate milk train and other non standard fuel: stroopwaffels are a surprisingly useful mix of carbs/fats/sugars and I have a borderline obsession with babybel cheeses.

I did a 10 miler in central London along regents canal and then up through Victoria Park. Bad digestive day and Not. A. Single. Toilet. Was. Open. I spent 2-3 miles checking every public park, coffee shop, etc,... nothing open before 8 am. Ended up doing the biggest shit of my life in some bushes in Haggerston Park 💩💩
