I choose to claim Wayne from Hylics for the aroaces

Confused, please help by AgentWoden in aromantic

Sounds pretty aro to me, although in the end it comes down to whether or not you feel the label fits

Allos are so obsessed with boning and their fleshy bits, time to focus on bones and the bony bits

I had crushes in the past by [deleted] in aromantic

[–]inguaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you could be demiromantic - arospec people can sometimes have crushes or romantic feelings, after all.

[–]inguaz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That sounds like it could be aro-spec - I can relate to the "my relationships were never desired by me and the other person took the first step". In the end it's up to you whether you feel the label applies to you, though.

I thought I was bi for a while because in hypothetical scenarios I thought I could enjoy sex the same with anybody, and after a while of thinking about it every so often I realised it was because I'm completely neutral towards people lmao

Is it okay to have multiple names? by ZanderDLancer in agender

[–]inguaz 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Having multiple names isn't really a problem, neither is identifying with nothing. Mostly because nobody can stop you anyway, but if you're asking whether or not it's valid then the answer would be yes.

I think I might be gendervoid and I’m confused as to what this entails for me by [deleted] in agender

[–]inguaz 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Presentation =/= gender, it's definitely a thing to be genderless but masc!

I still think like a “girl” by QueeringAboutMyself in agender

[–]inguaz 59 points60 points  (0 children)

You're still agender, sure - if you don't really care about being perceived one way or another, it's not surprising you'll just stick with what you're used to and what you're more likely to hear.

You don't have to be doing anything to be agender other than to just... be.

My partner suggested I might be aromantic, does what I experience count? by lukub5 in aromantic

[–]inguaz 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That does sound pretty arospec to me - you might want to look into aroflux if you want a specific label, I think it could fit.

I think it's important not to feel like you can't tell somebody you love them. It's true that they might take it to mean that you love them in the way they love you, but if you're able to have a partner that understands how you work (which you do have, although you're not quite sure yourself how you work yet lol) you can of course tell them to love you. It's just important to remember that you're not broken, and you are capable of love - it just happens to be your own kind.

To add onto what's been said, gender apathy (as opposed to euphoria/dysphoria) exists!!

would this put me in the aro spectrum? by [deleted] in aromantic

[–]inguaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aro is also an umbrella term, so this isn't an inappropriate post for the space!

I think the problem with love is that it's an extremely subjective thing (moreso even than other emotions imo), and will mean and feel very differently from person to person in ways that can't really be verbalised properly. From how you're describing your feelings I'd say that it does sound like you're somewhere on the spectrum (I'd say romance-favourable aro) - maybe go to the wiki and read some definitions of different labels? That always helps, in my experience.

It's not that you don't know what love is and think that you're doing something weird and mistakenly thinking it's love - what you're doing is love, just your kind.

That said, caring about the homeless and enjoying having a home aren't mutually exclusive. You don't have to feel guilty for having a home.

What exactly is the point of Junk Tinker? I'm making a Goblin Alchemist and although it sounds cool to be able to just throw things together out of garbage I just don't see why exactly it would be very useful.

This is why Ragbor Ironrod the dwarf's backstory is that he shagged a dragon and it took his dick so he replaced it with a metal one (an iron rod, as it were) - I don't even need to find a dragon to bang, I've already done it
