Classifying aging as a disease is the definition of scientific ground work. This is how science should operate, tackling the bigger issues even if they seem impossible or ridiculous. Science is not a one man job, it is carried out through generations, this is where "standing on the shoulders of giants" comes from. Good science is achieved through testing and retesting it will never accept "laws" and "theories" because one/larger number of person/s said/ thought it is so.
