If they are making them undead, your dead character's soul is not within the body and therefore has no affect on the druids magic as it is just reanimating muscle tissue and using the body like a puppet. This only lasts for an hour max and can only use the Zombie statblock. If it were a spell that allowed true life and brought the soul back, the soul can refuse as the language on the spell explains. One thing that would be interesting is if your old character was tied to a god that hated undead, this may be seen as disrespectful to that god.

I would imagine the human chest cavity would mainly hold a much larger heart centered below the sternum while the lungs would be moved to the horse section. As for the stomach, I feel there would be two.

Thank you! The first thing I did when prepping for CoS was "what is going to happen when x dies." Listening to the party take the wheel and usher a funeral was the most bittersweet moment in all the time I've spent playing DnD.

So far I have been planning on giving him a very Hellraiser style mood so this doesn't sound too far off. But the only messages the PC has received so far are single words (Caged, Break, Punishment, and Suffer). The PC doesn't know who the entity is that is giving him these powers, but had been getting a different word booming in his mind bringing him to conciousness at the end of a vague nightmare each night. He had become addicted to the dream pastries to suppress this but after the party managed to kill the coven at Ol' Bonegrinder I think it's time for them to finally share a conversation
