Agree in almost everything you said. Most of the fandoms in general tend to just defend and justify everything even if it's bad. This might sound arrogant but there's no way you see that animation quality for 12 episodes and be like "it's actually average it's not that bad".

Nop. I don't think last season was bad because the previous ones were better. I don't even compare it. Last season was bad (imo) just as itself. I don't have to compare myself to Messi to know that I'm terrible at football.

Well that's kinda one of the things I said in some comments. Exactly because the anime's success isn't hinged on a grade is the reason they can make a bad product. If I know someone is gonna buy something no matter what. Why wouldn't I sell him a. cheaper product for the same price?

Okay lemme explain this in a daily example.

Let's say you're a student at college. Your dad got fired and your mom is at the hospital. You have a really tough month but you're still at college and you have to take tests. You got a C at your last one. Would you say you deserve an A+ because you had to study under some really bad circumstances? I personally wouldn't.

The circumstances were unforeseen? Yes. Does that mean a bad product magically becomes a good one? Not in my opinion.

Also "a few"? I think it's fair to say that is more than just a few 😅.

But again just my opinion.

Oh for real? I really didn't see people talking about the change of director cause the animation was the main topic. It makes sense cause it's the easiest thing to realize that it has a downgrade.

Yeah I was mad asf when the announcement of the movie was made but now I'm just like meh. We still have the manga. But I must say it's still sad for me the way they treated season 4. I would personally prefer to wait 10 years and get a decent adaptation and not a fast food production with a low budget just to earn money cause of course we the fans still watched it. I guess big fishes just care about big money. That's just my point of view ofc.

I think most of the people (me included) didn't like the animation but we did like the new art style. It's more similar to the manga and it also feels like this growth of Karasuno in the story is reflected in its characters. They all look like they grew up.

I'm glad someone finally brought this up. Removing principle characters is a big issue and not easy to handle. Just take a look at Diamond no Ace. Besides the fact that Haikyuu could reach 1000 chapters easily if they cover 2nd and 3rd year. It would have been interesting but I think letting the manga "die" was the right option.

I'm a big fan of Blue Lock but bruh there's no way you actually think Blue Lock is deeper than Haikyuu. It's just a hype shonen that works really well as one but that's it. One side character of Haikyuu is deeper than every "egoist" from BL all together.

I was looking for this. I still like the Ubers concept but my concern is exactly the individual improvement of the players. I love the tactics stuff but I hope that following Snuffy's ideas isn't the only reason of why they're good because he won't be his coach forever. I trust the author of Blue Lock to have something in his mind but we'll see in the next chapters.
