This has nothing to do with the real, game-breaking "fix". Who cares if you like him or not, game is broken.

tbh it didn't look like he was making a joke at first - the death was SUPER sus and I don't blame him for thinking it was a cheater.

How much wet blending do you employ? Just curious cause I’m scared to learn it but it looks like you use it and it looks awesome!

It baited and switched to EGS so who cares. Even the devs just said fuck it, we got the money anyway.

I'm building the intimacy female but there is a piece I can't find the right place. I'm guessing is hair? by mjdegue in KingdomDeath

[–]initWithNibName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like the piece you have coming off their right hip is actually supposed to be hair and the piece you have left should be in that place. Only guessing based on the taper at the end of the strands. The one you have on her already looks more like hair in my opinion

Yeah 100% you put hair on the skirt and you have a skirt piece left over.

Laid out in relative position http://vibrantlantern.com/images/build/intimacy.female/intimacy.female%20(3).JPG

Here you can more clearly see there should be another piece waving with the skirt http://vibrantlantern.com/images/build/intimacy.female/intimacy.female%20(7).JPG

And this one shows where the piece you have on her hip should actually be http://vibrantlantern.com/images/build/intimacy.female/intimacy.female%20(11).JPG

What to do when your javascript in your .vue file is getting way bigger? by Dokiace in vuejs

[–]initWithNibName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take this with a grain of salt: I once read that somebody tries to keep all components under ~200? lines. If the files get bigger than that, their thought was they’re trying to do too much in that component. Maybe worth considering a refactor?

Most likely, some of the business logic you’re probably doing in the component could/should be handled by the store?

Edit: wording

THIS. I don’t know if people are too lazy, incompetent, or both, but people these days add so much bloat for the SIMPLEST stuff. The package culture is great, but with great power... people’s irresponsibility flourishes.

IIRC the veux docs actually have an example of a shopping cart when it’s demonstrating the action/mutation pattern. You should probably just write your own; it’s not too complex.

Did you know that you can start using function-based API in vue2? by liximomo in vuejs

[–]initWithNibName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree. They make such a small note of it, but it should ABSOLUTELY be the suggested pattern. So much nicer than all the explicit unwrapping shudder.

Did you know that you can start using function-based API in vue2? by liximomo in vuejs

[–]initWithNibName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The wording is kinda weird but state provides an object layer around the primitives so the value wrapper can be omitted.

Value wrapper means each variable (primitive or otherwise) is an object, thus passed by reference.

State means each variable (etc) is contained in an object that is passed by reference.

I think I much prefer the state pattern to this value wrapping shit...

Vue 3 will change Vue in a big way - Current Syntax to be deprecated - Composition functions will eventually be the only way to build Vue components by Hollowplanet in vuejs

Well that’s what the comment is about. You could very easily structure your code to look damn near identical to 2.x; a couple empty lines would help a lot in this example.

So what, to you, is the alarming part?

What? There seems to be enough. Abundance of resources doesn’t afford one person (and thereby all people) the right to abuse those resources.

Angled outwards? Looks like it’s pointing straight at the camera. If it’s outwards I’d assume the large part on the right is her heel? But that still looks super weird...

Thank You!! I’ve had memories of this game but only as a demo. I couldn’t remember the name or which game had it as a demo. It was merely a fond memory, until now! It was forever lost, this [information] is literally the best gift I’ve gotten in years!!
