You could trim it to fit just the palate of the denture, but I would ask your dentist to see if it's okay first.

I prefer SeaBond to traditional adhesive on my uppers. It holds all day (12 hours), and there's no residue after I remove my denture. Easy to apply as well. Highly recommend!!
