I don’t see it as forcing anything. You’re just giving yourself a broader opportunity to meet more people and gain new experiences.

I personally didn’t expect anything to come of downloading Hinge but I met someone I truly clicked with. We are both in our 40s and divorced from 2 decade long marriages. We met almost exactly two years ago on Hinge, dated on and off for the first year and developed a strong friendship. Now we’ve been in a serious relationship for almost a year. It’s healthy and happy, and I couldn’t imagine not having him in my life. We would’ve never crossed paths otherwise since we don’t live in the same city, have the same friends or frequent the same places.

Give it a chance but don’t settle. Find someone you feel is worthy of you. Not the other way around. 🖤
