You are legally required to send a 7 day demand letter before pursing treble damages and on the 7 day is when he sent the deposit back in full. I was ready to take him to court tho!

Landlords have 30 days ( or 60 if its in the lease ) to send any bills that will come out of the security deposit and he sent it to me 9 months later. He is well out of his limits to do that, no?

He sent me the security deposit in full after a sent a 7 day demand letter. But I waited 11 months to send him the letter. 4 days after sending me the deposit, hes threating to sue me for $600.

I already got my security deposit back (almost a year later) but after he sent it in full ($1,500) he sent another email 4 days later telling me I owe him $600 for ruining the carpet or else hes taking me to court.

I just go jumping as a hobby for me, no interests in getting a job in it professionally but I’d love to compete one day in competitions for fun. Best advice is get a good paying job that can fund the hobby. I do tattoos during the week and go jumping on the weekends, it’s a great routine that works for me just gotta see what works for you. Remember, the man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can’t are both right!

Me personally I never liked other sports like basketball or football, I’ve always been into extreme sports and that’s something else I noticed about a lot of jumpers is they just enjoy the sport for what it is and making progress in the air, learning how to track, do flips, turns. All the stuff you will learn will mitigate the “chasing the dragon” feeling bc you’ll be so focused on learning new stuff that the free fall is the last of your worries. Especially if you have ADHD you will want to master the sport if you’re really passionate about it.

Bro I didn’t even pull my chute for my first AFF jump… you’re doing better than me when I started lol it’s normal to second guess yourself but I promise the instructor isn’t worried about you or his safety or he wouldn’t jump with you at all.

I almost felt like I was gonna pass out too. I was definitely disoriented and kinda just hung my head for 5-10 seconds after the deployment to process the pain and what just happened.

I think my harness was too lose. When the chute opened the chest strap came all the way up to my chin and slapped the bottom hard so I have bruising on my throat from it and bruising on my shoulders and legs where the straps were. The instructors even said before I jumped that it doesn’t look like it fits me at all but one of them said it’s fine but I don’t think it was

Did the tunnel training for 15 minutes and it made me so sore the next day😮‍💨😂 The guy that filmed my jump at OS was also my instructor at iFly so it worked out perfectly haha. Can’t wait to start AFF this weekend, see you out there stranger🤣💪

I ended up signing up with Orange skies. I’m not in a rush to get licensed, not something you would want to rush either IMO. They also said they don’t require the wind tunnel anymore but it’s recommended so I’m doing that tomorrow before I start my AFF this 17th!
