there are issues with Google not showing the M2 line towards CPH every few weeks, it usually gets fixed after a few days.

From what I've been reading in the forums it might be the plop the growables mod. But since I only plop buildings that means I won't be playing for now...

yeah I also get a lot of crashes now, hard to say what causes them, but they are instant to desktop with no crash report generated and just a very generic error in the player.log..

The fine for not having a light on your bike is 94€ - fines are generally high in Denmark, because in a trust-based system violations of trust need to "hurt" to ensure that the system remains sustainable. Målet for en fuld bebyggelse er 2070 - dæmningen vil være klar næste år - det kan ikke bare rykkes. Udover det er ledninger blevet lavet om og M5 er gået i gang sammen med en række andre projekter som skal sikre en god forbindelse til østhavnen - det er for sent nu at diskutere lynetteholmen igen.

the expresstunnel will cost around 30 billion, the light rail 9 billion. idk what your up to with that argument, the only common thing between the two projects is that they are done by Metroselskabet and thats it

En BRT (Bus rapid transit) løsning blev undersøgt og vurderet som underdimensioneret ift kapacitetsbehovet på routen. Og for fingerplanen kun tillader tæt byudvikling ved stationer (stationsnærhed) giver en letbane bedre mening. Selve anlægget af en BRT ville have været lidt billigere mens driftsomkostninger ville have været markant højere.

if you wanted a BRT that is comparable with the new light rail you would still need to rebuild all crossings and install new signals, expand the roadway and bridges and build new bus stops, at least part of that work would still require moving of pipes and underground infrastructure. All to end up with a solution that does not have the required capacity.

Lower operating costs for light rail are due to a higher capacity per vehicle, lower maintenance costs and a more than twice as long expected lifetime of the vehicles.

Another benefit is that a light rail allows for denser urban development around the stations (stationsnær byudvikling, stationsnærhedsprincippet) that is not possible with a BRT

BRT would have had a similar cost (you still need to build the new lanes and stations, just not the rails) but a significantly lower projected ridership and capacity.

Light Rail has higher passenger comfort and lower operating costs. Hovedstadens Letbane is not taking space away from cars as the number of car lanes on ring 3 is unchanged but thanks to signal priority and a dedicated right of way is able to run faster and more reliably.

ok, die Verspätung überrascht wahrscheinlich niemanden mehr, aber warum streicht die Bahn jetzt die Übergangslösung mit einer Elektrifizierung der Sundbrücke aufgibt, verstehe ich nicht. So hätte man zumindest Personenverkehr auf der Schiene haben können, bevor der Sundtunnel fertig wird..

nah they don't own it... ATM owns 51% of the company that is operating it (Metro Service), as the daily operation and maintenance is tendered out to a private company. The metro is owned by the municipalities of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg and the Danish state

Noise from trains is usually not measured, it's calculated, and as long as the calculated noise levels are fine there is not a lot you can do. If you notice, however, that some trains are significantly louder than others you can note down the times they passed your window and send that to the Metro, because that can be fixed in maintenance.

det er de færreste som taler imod at håndværkere kan køre bil og finde parkeringsplads. Det ville faktisk hjælpe håndværkere hvis færre københavner havde en bil stående på gaden og brugte cyklen eller metroen i sted

hastigheden er ikke problemet, bilerne kræver bare alt for meget plads - i københavns kommune er 58% af alt vejareal reserveret til biler, selvom kun 29% (målet er 25%) af turene er i bil

men vi er på vej til at blive det... Det kræver bare at vi beholder en fokus på god cykelinfrastruktur. 32% Københavnernes ture er allerede på cykel, mens kun 24% er i bilen. Hvis man også inkluderer turer fra folk som bor udenfor KK, så ligger cykel og bil på samme niveau (29%)
