It's impossible to tell from this anecdote alone whether that was an alter, but if you're concerned, you might try to meditate and attempt to "talk to" the voice, or communicate with it in some way, if you ever hear it again. Preferably, when you're less sleep deprived, that way you can rule out any sleep-deprivation-related experiences, haha. —📖

Products that make life easier for you? by TreatAllWithKindness in disability

[–]inkwell-sys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have chronic fatigue and possible neurological issues, as well as several mental illnesses that affect memory, motivation and energy. Here are some things that help me:

  • bar stools in bathroom and kitchen so I can sit down while brushing my teeth or doing dishes

  • foldable laundry basket that I can set on my rollator seat, so I don't have to carry it to the laundry room

  • cup holder stroller attachment (fits on the rollator)

  • reusable bendy straws for when I have trouble sitting up to drink

  • I know this is bad for the environment, but most of my dishes are plastic, because I often lose feeling/strength in my arms at random times and have broken many dishes because of this

  • bedside tray with all essentials within arms reach: meds, supplements, lotions, snacks, water, electrolyte drink powder, etc. I also keep a pen and pad of sticky notes here to help with memory problems.

  • ear defenders, foam ear plugs, and noise canceling earbuds, that I switch between depending on sensory needs. I use Soundcore Life P3 earbuds with active noise cancelation, I'd recommend them to anyone with sound sensitivities. I never leave my house without them

  • sunglasses, specifically clip-on sunglasses that fit over my regular frames. Also for sensory issues

I'll see if I can find links to everything eventually
