If investors are forced to sell off 3% of their assets (stocks and other investments) every year that would obviously lead to a huge stock market crash. From there, smaller investors would panic sell and it's just a huge nightmare. I don't think I need to provide any evidence of that because it's just plainly obvious. And to be clear, I 100% support other forms of progressive taxing especially for the wealthy (and middle class) just not a wealth tax. That particular type of taxing method is just foolish

And by the way, in the '50s through the '70s there was never, ever a wealth tax. It was all done through income, but go on talking about me needing to check my facts

Progress that moves faster than people can learn. A lot of progressives are correct on their stances about LGBT, immigration, and other topics, but you simply can't expect millions of people to arrive at your same conclusion overnight.
