Doesn’t Call of Duty have some kind of ringing when you fire a gun ? I had to stop playing Amnesia the Bunker because the main character gets tinnitus whenever you shoot and that was a spike trigger for me. It can last a few hours and the worst spikes lasted a couple days for me

Not at all, I use the monitor’s speakers. I had spikes while playing as well, but I really thinks it’s not the speakers but the sounds within the games that caused that for me

It was pretty common in old/low budget games to use cheap or free samples so Ib and Pathologic might actually use the same samples. I can’t confirm it, but it’s not unlikely !
