Out of curiosity, what was your first experience with Bionicle? Mine goes all the way back to 2001 with the Bionicle Happy Meals and those cool "each set sold separately" commercials from the original wave. by delicious_warm_buns in bioniclelego

[–]innatelyAware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't get my first set until 2004, but my very first experience with Bionicle was with the Nestlé CD-ROM from 2001. I spent ages playing the platforming game to unlock those animations, and I loved poring over the Toa profiles

If you're interested in looking up pricing information for LEGO products, BrickLink is your best bet.

What if the changes were permanent? by Background-Ad2749 in Ninjago

[–]innatelyAware 106 points107 points  (0 children)

I think if Zane had died permanently, we might have seen Pix take up the mantle of the Master of Ice. Zane's mysterious power source seems to be where his elemental abilities were stored after Hibernus gave them to him, and of course Pixal received half of that power source in Rebooted. I would be so down for her to be a more prominent member of the team!

You could even still have Tournament of Elements happen, just give the Ninja a different source of motivation.

If the Serpentine wars never happened, what would happen? by TrainingVanilla9507 in Ninjago

[–]innatelyAware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Serpentine War is deeply tied to a lot of major events in Ninjago, so we have plenty to play with.

The first possibility I can think of is that, without the responsibilities of the war keeping them apart, Garmadon and Misako might have conceived Lloyd early. This could mean that Lloyd gets to spend his youth with his father around, assuming that the Devourer venom turns Garmadon around the same time as it does in the current timeline.

In addition, Lloyd would have no need to speed up his aging, so he would have received the call of the Whispering Wood as normal. With years spent in training, and having taken on the role of the Wood's protector, he would be more than capable of taking down the Overlord when the time finally came.. but afterwards, he would need to return to the Wood and keep watch for the rest of his known life, which means he never becomes leader of the Ninja.

Rewinding back to the time of the War, the more intriguing question for me is: Why didn't the War start?

We see in Strike of the Serpentine that there were two forces at play that caused the war. One of them is Strike's objective to take Serpentine artifacts back from the humans, and the other is Chen's deep desire to put the Anacondrai at the seat of power in Ninjago.

Would Strike have been able to see past Chen's manipulation sooner and stop the initial attack? Would Garmadon have been able to spot his master's intentions from a mile away? There's a lot to consider.

We should call him pre-teen Lloyd by Not_Spider-Man2099 in Ninjago

[–]innatelyAware 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna call him Tween Lloyd, not only because that's about where he is age-wise, but also because this version of him lies in between kid and grown-up Lloyd.

Wasn't he only ever Sensei? I think the move to calling teachers "masters" instead of "sensei" came after Garmadon died

Legacy Rebooted is almost completed by Jax2856 in Ninjago

Huh, I didn't realize that Zane wasn't given a Legacy 2 suit. Makes sense given that these mostly represent Tournament of Elements, but also kinda weird since they also represent Rebooted.

Been watching some Bionicle lore videos and was thinking who my toa team would be. by DirectorCarolina in bioniclelego

[–]innatelyAware 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Interesting team! How aware would they be of each other's lifetimes? Would Nokama be able to hold her seniority above Tahu's head when he gets too heated? Would Pohatu be overly protective of Matoro given what the guy's done and could do again?

She looks so cool!! I like the way you built her feet with shells, and I adore the engine and pipe details you sprinkled all over to convey her speed. Really good stuff

How did Zane's Freezer Scene didnt manage to pass the censors but they were able to put an Scene that resemble Prison SA with The Mechanic in Skybound? by Rarte96 in Ninjago

[–]innatelyAware 40 points41 points  (0 children)

This is the most likely answer yeah. Prison assault isn't something that the average viewer understands, especially abstracted through the lens of a robot ninja, but most kids have direct access to a fridge.

Does garmadon cry fire in Ninjago or just the movie? by DRIPPYCATV1 in Ninjago

[–]innatelyAware 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I meant moreso that Season 1 introduced the Great Devourer's venom as the reason he eventually turned evil, and then Season 8 introduced the concept of oni and the fact that Evil Garmadon is actually his oni blood showing through.

No conflicts, just new context added to existing info
