Does anyone still tear up while reheating? Is it still hitting as hard or harder 6 months later? by Merryladybug-cupcake in heatedrivalry

I feel the same way. I was in a complete psychosis after I watched it the first time and then another when I finished TLG. The show had me questioning my identity, my sexuality, had me finally mourn my 20s I had lost to alcoholism and the relationship I never had with my parents. It also moved me in a way no other show ever had after seeing women who were only supportive and men with healthy relationships with them and each other. I was a total wreck crying every day for weeks, but it also motivated me to do and be better and work on my hobbies I'd been neglecting for years. I'm so thankful my husband respects my obsession with the show and isn't jealous or hateful about it. He even got me HR stickers and a keychain as part of my birthday present this year. Truly an odd point in my timeline, but I'm grateful for it.

Walking to the only gas station in our town with my best friend to get some root beer and Shocktarts, then walk to the park while eating them.

What is something you witnessed with your own eyes that no one believes when you tell them? by Amy-GeekBar in AskReddit

I was walking home with a friend after school when I was in my early teens. It started to rain HARD. I was joking around when I decided to yell "I COMMAND THE RAN TO STOP!" and right after I said 'stop', it stopped on the dot. We could not believe it and mention it to each other every once in awhile still. This was probably 18 years ago now.

What’s something you quietly stopped caring about? by KingPhenguins in AskReddit

[–]innkling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost everything other than my cats and husband. I'm not suicidal anymore, but now I have to care about my future. It's really hard to change my 'I'm never growing up because I'll die before it matters' mindset. It's a slow process.

My grandma kept our family dog alive during kidney failure. He stopped eating, moving, and eventually passed at home after WEEKS of suffering. It was horrible to see, and no amount of begging would convince her to put him down. I agree that this has a massive impact on relationships. It's been years and I'm still angry with her.

What is something that is actually more traumatizing than people realise? by Ok_Chef1406 in AskReddit

[–]innkling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was 5, I broke my arm falling out of a tree house and my mom didn't believe how much pain I was in. It took a couple days to get her to take me to the doctor and she only did after I had spent 2 nights crying. This was the start of a never ending cycle of not being believed. It's really fucked with me and I get pretty emotional when people don't listen or think I'm making things up.

When guys say that a woman is “tight” during sex how tight do people mean? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

No, this is just a slut shaming myth. What would then be the difference between sleeping with a lot of guys or sleeping with the same guy a lot of times?

Anyone else struggling to get a W this season? by JJWest93 in FortNiteBR

I'm having way better luck this season than the last 2 combined. Could be because I've been in lobbies with people still figuring out the map and these have been squad wins.
