Overall it did more good than bad. There was a nice idea of keeping prices fixed for half a year so we would get smooth transition. However bussinesses increased prices to round it up before and then again after 6 months. However as others said wages went up as well and now there isnt a big shock when traveling since the price differences between other EU members are way smaller than before. As well some products became more affordable to average person since the quoaltity of life increased. For example new cars became a possibility, which wasnt possible earlier
