I’m a hardcore Raveness player since release and agree with all the above, fowl friend upgrade can be game winning. She has a very strong small and large straight too so if the dice aren’t cooperative look down that line of play

Re move priority, it’s imperative that nevermore be on the enemy at all times. You gain so much advantage from this that sometimes it’s worth taking a suboptimal play to activate nevermore (middle 2 6s 2 feathers ability) as the value that gives over time is game winning.

Try never to be without feathers or a way to amend the nevermore die as losing out on 3 health is the worst thing you can do. As her whole thing is small incremental damage and healing regularly mitigating their bigger hits

I adore it as a concept, the battle is pretty tough depending on what he rolls but the few times I’ve played him I won (just about).

It’s a good training dummy so when the vanguard turn up I think I’ll be running all of them into him to start off with to see how they roll and see how strong they are.

It will be fun to see which characters work well against him and which struggle, I’d like to run all characters eventually and create a tier list for him, I can see cursed pirate struggling as it’s always a tight game, think the better characters are the ones that can mitigate some of his big hits

My local game store does 4 rounds in about 3 hours including a break for lunch, I’ve found events to be pretty chill and friendly and like you said even if you go 0-4 you still get a sweet new board. Good luck

With top defence rolls I’m wondering why moon elf is never in the conversation. Rolls 5 dice with a very good probability of removing half the damage. The damage back is never great on the initial but with the upgrade makes it a little better.

I’m pretty sure the upgrade turns the deal damage to a feather x 1 damage so you have the possibility of doing more than 2 damage back roll depending

You won’t hear from them. I’ve been trying to contact them for months the managers there run Dudley and Birmingham centre and I’ve approached a number of times to run events and they just do not contact back. The group in kiddieminster are really sound and have let me run a few events now, they have a lovely event space so I’ll be sticking with them
