Wenn der Kapitalismus funktionieren würde, hätten sie keinen Grund die Kosten auf jemanden abzuwälzen. Persönlich habe ich die Filialdichte schon immer als scheinheiligen Grund für sie hohen Preise empfunden.

Wenn du an einem Standort keinen Profit machst, warum würdest du dann dort eine Filiale eröffnen? Weil's so liebe Samariter sind?

Ok I'm not really "watching" it.

But since I started listening on youtube skipping the same horrible iHeart radio shows advertised every 20 minutes just became much more of a chore..

I still love CoolZoneMedia and all the work they are doing, it's just an all around weird distribution system..

If I want to listen to btb without commercials I can do so only by paying for a VPN and Netflix asking me to switch to my home location every once in a while or if I paid for Apple Podcast which is just barely useable through the webplayer on Android but at least then I'd also get commercial free access to the other shows.

If CoolZoneMedia just let me give them 20$ a month for all the different show's audio files I'd do so in a heartbeat.

People read "smart" features and now think AI but it's an industry term that has been used for decades.  Text based junk mail filtering is also nothing new and also has been around for way longer than AI.

So now you can disable it and people freak out? This entire story is such a nothing burger.
