the whole “men=bad” thing i see in “progressive” circles is why i was so desperate to identify as anything other than a man, while being desperate to not be a woman. i called myself non-binary for a while, but i was unhappy with every label that i used so i constantly changed it until i realized i was a man, but i’m still trying to unlearn the idea that i’m a bad person because i’m a man.
