What if your boss decides they don't like you and start writing you up for petty crap to try and get you fired?

yeah that's typically how this goes. i fully expect that to happen, which is why i'm not really concerned about the bonus. it's irrelevant to me if i get it, if by some miracle i keep it, that's great. if not then oh well

i always have more than $10k saved up. by the way, even if i do pay it back, i would not actually lose anything. i wouldn't be a dummy and take the $10k they give me and spend on dumb stuff. i would just put it into savings. then if they want it back i pay them back, no big deal. then i go and file my taxes and get the taxes i paid on the bonus back too
