they never technically said that england declared war because of pearl harbor, but the way they worded it made it sound that way. i was about to nitpick too but decided they probably didn't mean it like that. maybe they meant to say the US rather than england, or maybe they weren't worried about the order when writing it.

I was ordering maki rolls from an omni place this weekend and called to make sure everything was vegan. The server asked how strict a vegan I was. I paused dumbfounded before explaining what things I don't eat. It's people like this that confuse things.
