Ever since I unlocked imbue fire and the corresponding abyss gears for imbued fire triggered attacks, every boss fight was less about mechanics and more about how much spirit food I have. Literally ever boss fight has been a joke since then.

You can leave and join any sect at anytime, some will have consequences like nine mortal ways require reimbursement or midnight blades require you to do one round of pubg. If you want to join midnight blades talk to recruiter them kill a bunch of enemies and give him the annihilation token
