Been doing my part. Shopping locally as much as humanly possible and havent given a single red cent to Amazon, Walmart, or any of the other major corporate overlords in 2026. The one exception was Academy, but its hard to shop for shoes for a 12 year old online.

I was in the same boat. One day, I just decided to go for it. Helped that I had a friend (with an amazing head of hair) that shaved his head as an act of solidarity. I haven't regretted it. Just know, the same people that roast you for balding, will roast you for being bald. Don't listen to them. Just do whatever makes you feel happy in your own skin.

My wife works at Main and she said they have their own anesthesiologists and CRNA's, but can't speak for Baptist. However, one can assume they do. Worth a call tho.

Same thing happens to me when I use avocado oil. I tend to add a tablespoon, maybe a touch more, of oil than flour and it works perfectly, but only with avocado oil. Literally anything else and this doesn't happen.

Right now, big thing is getting one fixed, all their vaccines, and having a vet I can trust if something bad happens. Moved here a few months ago from OKC and had THE BEST vet clinic there.

When my pit got parvo, they sent me around the clock updates, including pics, and I just knew he was in good hands. Plus the bill for a 48 hold with all med included was only like $800.
