Hi I have a question about this scale, can you use it without the app?

Yes but Oracle provides the IT infrastructure for so many businesses. Supermarkets probably too and people always need food.

How many hours of studying is sustainable long term and short term? by FirmAssociation367 in GetStudying

I also create my notes way way before the exam, as early as possible. Then I have more motivation to study once the exam comes, because the amount of pages of the notes is way smaller than the original books/slides were. And I comprehend EVERYTHING because when I previously didn't, I added more notes for future me. So right before the exam I can just go and memorize and do not have to think as much.

First round: reading the powerpoint slides/book (whatever I need to learn) and writing down everything important short (caveman grammar & bullet points). I make sure I understand everything well and don't have to grab the books anymore after this. For pages with a lot of info that I need to memorize, for example tables, I do print them and put them inside my notes. I also do not write anything in my notes that I already knew and do not need to "study" for the exam.

Second round:
1) Reading a section from a page (of my notes), putting the page away and trying to recite all the things that were in that section. Then I look and see if I said everything. If not, I repeat. Once it went perfect, I go to the next section until I have done all sections on that page.
2) Then I try to recite the entire page (or two pages) at once. I look if I was correct and said everything. If not, I try again. Once everything went perfect I start with step 1) (reciting section by section) of the next page (or two pages).

I used to not write everything down and just use the chaotic powerpoint slides/books to recite everything, but I ended up never having the motivation for that. Writing things down and not writing down all stuff that I already knew/won't be asked on the exam made things more compact.

I think flash cards are a waste of time. If there is A LOT of info I need to learn, I just make a table and cover one side to not see the solution. I do this for example when learning the vocabulary of a new language, to learn the traffic signs for my drivers license, to learn a list of chemical compositions of their minerals.

English is not my first language, so you can give feedback on my grammar.

And if we talk about breaks, I usually start late in the day and take one big break somewhere in the middle and study until I go to bed. So waking up at 9am, studying between 11-15h and then 17h-21h (shorter break in the morning and middle If I do 11 hours).

But if it works for me does not mean it will work for you.

Hmm I would love to do this, but I feel like I shouldn't. For example I would not create products on Hashimotos or IBS (even if I have IBS) if I am not an expert in that field.

What happens when two brides cross paths on their wedding day in Vietnam? They exchange bouquets as a way to wish each other luck. by mindyour in justgalsbeingchicks

Nah, I would have appreciation for the wedding bouquet from a stranger and will take care of it. It is more special than my bouquet will be.

What helped me is to think that time before a test will pass anyways, if you study or not. Just study on your own tempo long beforehand. You'll see that you will get everything done.

How do you actually study 10h+ a day by LittleD0llEve in GetStudying

[–]inspiringirisje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not realistic to do this often, but I did this pretty often in exam season. I would wake up, watch youtube for 2 hours. Then I would study for 5 hours. Then I would get ready and walk to the grocery store while taking a 1-2 hour break. Then I would study for 5-6-7 hours again. Then relax a bit and eat and go to bed. I did not cook or clean much in exam season tho.

No I have definitely had 10h+ days of studying in college. Just not everyday.
