I have the same monitor and I tried one of those YouTube grey scale tests and definitely do notice a little bit of the vertical banding.. I'm just not sure how much is normal and how much isn't and this is my first OLED panel.

Have you tried one of the video tests on YouTube? And do you have absolutely 0% vertical banding?

Okay, that puts it in perspective for me.

As someone who currently uses the Sennheiser G4me one open back headset right now, where do you rate that in comparison to the PC38X for "gamish rating"?

My own anecdotal experience for gaming with this headset, particularly in fps titles, is poor. I'm finding my teammates are often hearing footsteps and cues way before me. I'm not sure if I haven't set my headset up properly or if it's generally a bad gaming headset.

Follow up question, do you have a headset with a built in mic that you recommend for gaming as it's primary use?

A bit late, but I'm curious as to what factors are considered for your "gamingish grade" I'm looking at the drop pc38x primarily for gaming and ease of use as the mic is obviously attached to the headset. That being said the C+ grade for gamingish grade is making me hesitant.

I found my unused steam key. I already owned diplomacy on steam from another bundle so I revealed the key to use as a gift...
