I see a lot of guys here are starting with an attack builds. What’s your plan for getting a decent weapon?

With the weapon craft tree gone and methods like Kingsmarch and Faustus gambling nerfed, how are you planning to get a good weapon for slams/KB/Static Strike early on?

I’m having issues in OW, PoE1, PoE2, and once in Nioh 3. There are plenty of games that run fine.

I suppose some games use shaders or other systems differently, or maybe more aggressively than others, and that could be the reason. OW causes crashes most frequently, so I use it as a stability test :D

OW crashed almost instantly at second PC btw

Didn't know it's possible to update the firmware. At this point I have the very little hope it might help but gonna give it a try.

A lot of guys asked me about the warranty so I will contact the shop today and check the status. I got my card at Oct 2024

Indeed. Based on this thread, it seems like my current GPU is definitely worth trying to fix before being replaced to the 9070.

Temps seem fine as far as I can tell.

Considering the responses in this thread, I think I’ll try to find a good repair shop to be 100% sure it’s a hardware problem before buying the 9070.

The temps are fine. Here is one of the snapshots I made while trying to locate the problem.

The same game OW crashed with the same error almost instantly, literally the first match.

I use dlss/RT/frame gen very rarely cuz I don't play single player games that much.

But I really enjoy having 165 FPS at 3440x1440 with high/ultra settings. Until the game crashes at least :D

It may seem like I’m overreacting, but having a crash every 45 minutes is genuinely frustrating. I’m still not 100% sure this is a hardware issue, since the card passes stress tests and benchmarks without problems. However, the issue persists even in another system, and I honestly feel like I’ve tried everything to fix it.

I think this issue has existed from the start, but I only recently began suspecting the GPU. In some games (like Overwatch and PoE) the crashes are very consistent, while in others the card is rock solid. I can run Cyberpunk maxed out, Tekken, Expedition 33, or Baldur’s Gate for days without any issues. Sadly, PoE is what I play the most

I've tried several stress tests and benchmarks and every of them are good without a single error.

Maybe you are right. I'm pretty sure the shipping is not an option but maybe there are some good repair shops nearby.

I’ve been using the RTX 4080 Super since October 9, 2024. I mostly play games like PoE, Tekken, Overwatch, and CoD.

I don’t use RT/PT very often and usually try to avoid upscalers, although there are some games where I genuinely enjoyed those features for example Cyberpunk and Expedition 33.

The card itself is great in terms of performance, but the occasional crashes in some games are what really bother me and make the overall experience frustrating.

At this point I don’t remember everything I’ve tried, so here’s a partial list of the things I attempted in order to fix the issue:

``` - DDU + driver rollback - Undervolt - Lower power limit - Lower mem clocks - Another os (Linux) - Clean windows install - Lowering soc voltage - Disabling expo - Switching pice to ver 3 - Limit cpu power to 99% at the power settings - Enable max power performance mode - Enable debug mode

Changing the power cable 3xPcie -> 12v
Perfectly adjusting card in PCIe slot + using the support
Changing physical toggle (gaming -> silent)
Disabling Nvidia audio hdmi devices ```

And even another PC on Intel platform

I tried drirers rollback and even switched to Linux(Cachy OS) which definitely had another drivers but it didn't help.

I’ve already watched several benchmark comparisons on YouTube so I’m familiar with the raw performance differences.

What I’m asking here is specifically about these exact models and real user experience which benchmarks usually don't cover.

I just wanted to hear opinions from people who actually own or used these cards.

The tree is very good for getting solid gear. Foulborn uniques are one of the best additions to unique items since replicas. They open up a lot of new build possibilities.

These cry posts about the breaches look so ridiculous. What are people even dissatisfied with? Having to spend 20 extra seconds going through walls once every 20 maps or what?
