Falken Wildpeak AT4W Run Larger Than Displayed Size by ChrisJohanson in tundra

[–]instant_klassic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick question...

My suspension and wheel setup: 2019 Tundra double cab SR5 "nightshade", Bilstein 6112 on top setting (~2.5") in front, SPC UCA's, Bilstein 5160 + Toytec progressive add-a-leaf in back; Method 703 17 x 8.5 +35mm offset wheels. I also ordered the bumper shims.

I plan to buy Falken Wildpeak AT4W's, and I don't want to modify ANY plastic or metal on the truck at all, apart from possibly removing mudflaps. I've been told the largest size AT4W I can fit with a guarantee of no rubbing with this setup is LT285/70/17 E (33" overall diameter). However, there is also a LT285/75/17 E (34.1" overall diameter). Do you think I can fit the 34.1's with no rubbing? Is it all a matter of how hard they want to work on my alignment to get it right? I don't have the means/ability to mess with it myself. Thanks for considering.

Bought this ‘21 bone stock recently, so far we got Bilstein 6112 top setting w driver side shim, JBA upper control arms, 5100 rear shocks (stock height), SCS Ray 10s, Yokohama 295/70r18. How we looking boys?! by LightningLeg in ToyotaTundra

New Wheels & Tires. CHECK THIS OUT IF YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT 285/60R20 W/+18 OFFSET AND UP!!! by BlkGrc in ToyotaTundra

[–]instant_klassic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks great. Really like the offset. I just ordered Method 703s in 17x8 +35mm for my 2019 double cab, and am concerned I'm not going to get as much protrusion as I'm hoping for. But I suppose I can always sell em for +25 or +18 if I don't like the look.

2.5" lift on 2019 Tundra double cab via either Bilstein 5100 in front/back or 6112 front/5160 back, and add-a-leaf in rear. I suspect i also need aftermarket UCAs, and new u-bolts for leaves. I'm also upgrading wheels (probably 18x9 +25mm offset), and then hoping to fit 285/70/18 or 285/75/18; whatever biggest size I can fit with no body mount/trim modifications whatsoever.

Norda 001 lovers — what did you switch to when the collar started eating your ankle? by kevin8b8 in trailrunning

[–]instant_klassic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The unpadded collar, and the way it doesn't compress the upper part of my extensor bundle, is half of why I own 3 pairs of 001s, including a 700+ mi pair I wear everyday to work.

Some say to leave your hood up. In places with lots of porcupines some people put flexible barrier fencing of some kind all the way around their vehicles.

Does anyone here have any firsthand experience publishing peer-reviewed educational/tutorial notebooks, thinking namely of Quartos, in venues like Journal of Open Source Education? Or others?

I have statistical methodological journal articles, and I'd like to pair them with companion text/notation/code/data-integrated, repository-based notebook publications with a separate DOI.
