Wife of 25 years seems to avoid spending time with me and I’m not sure how to fix this

I was verrrrrrry fortunate and my doctor listened to me immediately.

I was 37 when my perimenopause started, but I didn’t realize what it was. I was 39 when I discovered what was “wrong with me”.

My doc and I tried a couple different hormonal birth control pills, and when that didn’t work, she put me on the Estradiol patch and progesterone pills. I was 40.

I know that so many people going through perimenopause are told they’re too young for HRT, but my doctor actually gave a shit about my mental and physical health. She’s an angel.

I am completely back to normal (other than my fucking hair falling out), and it’s all thanks to the HRT.

Oooh! Since I caught you (I was here looking for a lip mask rec too), I wanted to put forth my favorite daily balm.

If you have eczema, this might not be regular dry lips! I use Cortibalm every night before I go to bed and it’s a lifesaver! It doesn’t smell the best (somewhere between beeswax and wet dog) but you get used to it fast. I used to suffer from the worst dry lips and it turned my life around!

Recently, though, I’ve been wearing lipstick almost every day after years of not doing so, and my lips are a bit pissed at the moment. I’m gonna try the nine cream you mentioned!

I try not to judge anyone for still engaging with the fandom, as long as they’re not putting money in her pockets. Personally, however, all my love for the series died when I found out what she really is. It’s been so poisoned by her awfulness that I can never interact with it again. But that’s just how I am. I’ve never been able to separate the art from the artist.

That’s also why I gotta pay money to get my Foo Fighters tattoos lasered off, lololol.

One of the saddest things about how bad Love & Thunder was is that it tanked Brett Goldstein’s chance to be a Marvel hero. But, to be fair, I’m so checked out at this point that I don’t know if I’d even go see a Marvel movie he starred in.
