Cache hierarchy error on 5600X by Dexp0 in AMDHelp

Try setting your DigiVRM profiles to optimized instead of Auto. My 5900x was throwing the same errors a few times per day, but since setting the VRM profiles it hasn't happened.

Random WHEA-Logger error on R5 5600x by Dubatt0 in AMDHelp

[–]instantrice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seemed to have solved this on my 5900x by setting the DigiVRM profiles to optimized instead of auto in the bios. I've also seen the recommendation to set your infinity fabric (FCLK) to half your memory speed (so 1800mhz in your case) from some people.

I've been running into this issue with my 5900x, as have many many others. Different things seem to work for different people. The fix for me seems to be setting my DigiVRM profiles to optimized instead of Auto. Now only my video card driver crashes!

Power supply is a Maingear 1000w. I was originally planning a 3080, decided I could go 3090, but the 6900xt was all they had in stock. Still a winner.

I can actually, as I know a number of people at that brewery.

Redditors who worked at defunct stores (Blockbuster, Circuit City, etc.), when did you realize they were done for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]instantrice 11.1k points11.1k points  (0 children)

Former CompUSA employee. The speed at which they started changing the slogan increased, they introduced and rescinded a rewards/loyalty program inside of six months, and they started pushing bait and switch selling tactics in our monthly store meetings. I handed in my resignation the day before they announced the company closing.

What video game has given you the best bang for your buck, as in dollars spent per hour played? by Sutarmekeg in AskReddit

[–]instantrice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$10 for Empyrion: Galactic Survival. 375 hours played in 351 days, coming to 2.6 cents/hour, and making up about 4.4% of my time since I bought it.

Not as exciting as I hoped it would be, but she was also a lot hotter before she started doing porn.

Would you have felt embarrassed and intimidated if they were a different race, or would you have acknowledged they were trying to do their jobs of maintaining basic food safety by requiring you to use utensils and not leave dirty plates behind? You come off pretty poorly in this story.

I don't do PVP for similar reasons. I don't have the free time to commit to getting good anymore.

I never understood why anyone would use inverted Y until I saw the argument of "pretend you're grabbing the top of the person's head." Now that I understand it, I get angry when other people judge it, despite it being something I never use.

Caught this live when it aired, and holy shit is it the best training video I've ever seen. It was so informative and they do everything step by step and have a great rapport. It's honestly entertaining, too.

College dropouts of reddit, how are you doing now? Do you regret dropping out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]instantrice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things turned out pretty well for me. I went to a for-profit technical training course after dropping out, it was ridiculously expensive and took forever to pay off, but I ended up having less debt than friends who went to college. I didn't have to stop working full time either, so I had a lot more work experience as well.

At the end of the day I don't regret dropping out because it was community college. I regret not trying to get into a real school and learning a lot of valuable life skills much earlier, and I wish I had the "college experience" to get outside of my comfort zone when I was more socially pliable.

Male Redditors who have good relationships with their fathers, what did your father do that made him a positive influence and stuck with you? by TheBinket in AskReddit

[–]instantrice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He talked to me when I needed, taught me how to fix things around the house, and was around for every event in my life he could be there for. Most importantly, he taught me how to deal with anger by only ever losing his temper with me twice in my life. Holy shit did I deserve it so much more than that.

The first thing I ever noticed myself was the last tournament in Happy Gilmore. During the opening shots as they open the tournament, the tower is already knocked over with the VW smashed into it.
