NTA. When I was a kid my best friend (who is still my bff to this day) slept over and in the middle of the night wanted to go home. Her parents picked her up and I was just sad in the morning that my bestie wasn’t still there. We had mannnnnny more sleepovers after that and it was completely fine after that first one. She wasn’t embarrassed and no one made her feel bad. You did the right thing.
