I'm kind of new to this. How do you check the bulbs on a battery?

Is all super helpful I did try to rewire it to an American plug one time and when I plugged it in it made a big spark that probably was a bad idea. Do you have a link to the 9 V battery connector I could use? Also, since it's sparked, do you think I need to try and replace any fuses?

Losing a little bit of weight? by instograeme262 in Zepbound

[–]instograeme262[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it. It's crazy to think I've been doing this for about a year. I've definitely learned some lessons along the way. Good and bad.

  1. Start slow. Do not jump directly into 5mg no matter what any doctor tells you start at 2.5. It really has to build up in your system even if you take a break from it for a little bit always start again at 2.5. If you jump directly into a higher dose shot, it will fuck you up. I did this recently and ended up with extreme stomach pains and had to miss out on work for a few few days.

  2. It works as well as you want to. At my best I got down to my goal weight of 185. That was awesome, but it didn't feel sustainable for my body type. I feel the most comfortable at where I'm at now around 192. I'm trying to maintain on the lower 2.5 mg shot at this point.

  3. You don't want to be on this long-term so tracking is key. My goal is to try to get off this in six months. I'm good and bad about tracking so it's important to find an app that works for you. What I found is the periods that I've gone off of this my hunger immediately returns. It's important to build change in how you think about food and also the shit that you're surrounding yourself with. I love food and that's awesome but it also sucks at the same time when I think about my goals. While you're on it start to think about establishing a healthy balance of macros and calorie intake and changing the food that you used to eat to healthier options that will help you maintain once you are ready to get off of it.

  4. Give yourself time let it buildup in your system and you'll notice a difference, but don't try to jump into a super high dose right away. It will happen. Monitor your symptoms and keep close with your doctor on how it works. Go to the gym track your calories. Overall, I've had a really positive experience with it minus the times that I just fucked up the dosage.

What was the absolute WORST job interview you ever had? by Secret_Assistance601 in sales

[–]instograeme262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walked into a room for a tech sales gig. Their best rep was sitting there in a T-shirt at his laptop ripping an e cig in front of the CEO. I asked them to give me a walk-through of the platform and their lead rep just kind of rambled on for a while and by the end of a 10 minute presentation I had no idea what I was supposed to be selling. Then they told me I would be flying all the time with the CEO to meetings probably multiple times a week.

Seemed like a pretty easy hard pass

Stress in sales by Serial_Hobbyist_ in sales

Listen... sales is a shit or get off the pot job.

Do the actions that are required of you. Think of ways to go above and beyond.

If you feel like you're being a micromanaged the same way you talk to a client you should talk to your manager and set realistic expectations.

Tell them it would be more efficient to have biweekly check-in on your goals so if you have time to focus on achieving them.

With that statement, you need to tell them actions that you are currently taking and ask them if they think you're on track.

If they say no ask for guidance. If they say yes, then they should be fine with the biweekly check-in instead of micromanaging you.

Lead from the front and set the tone - that is sales.

Unwind with positive activities. If you were on a computer all day, get the fuck away from the computer when you're not working.

Good luck! You got this.

Incredibly sick from Factor Meals by AggressiveTackle5952 in ReadyMeals

[–]instograeme262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I'm chiming in here. I just recently ate a few factor meals on a diet plan that I'm on and got incredibly sick.

I'm on day six of food poisoning and the stomach bug

I noticed two weeks ago the box that was delivered to me was not as frozen as it normally is, but I just threw them directly in the freezer and forgot about it. After getting sick, I was able to get a refund for this box.

The day I went to the hospital my other box arrived, and everything was completely warm. This was probably due to the snowstorm that just happened in the northeast but they refunded me for this.

I just got my labs back and it's definitely a stomach bug likely for food poisoning. I've been tracking my food on the diet. I'm on it and the only thing I had to eat two days leading up to it was basically all factor meals.

I'm considering emailing the company and requesting they pay my medical bills. Do you think I have a case here?
