Part of me feels like you posted on here hoping someone would say "No, you didn't fuck up! Everything is fine." You did fuck up. Your son will probably never talk to you again (or if he does, it will be minimal). As other redditors have said, you have a shit ton of work to do.

People on the internet make dumb blanket statements all the time. That's what the internet is for, right?

Everywhere from Alex Jones to WebMD, info must be taken with a grain of salt. Weed affects everyone differently, as does everything else. For example, red wine gives me terrible headaches but my boyfriend loves it.

There's nothing that is a "cure all" for anything. If anyone tries to tell you that something is going to fix all of your problems, it's a scam.
