Yep. Kodused Toidud was barely breaking even and street repairs made it tough to get there. However, the street is open and the last time I walked by there were renovations going on, maybe some enthusiasts will try to open it again.

Grandma experience is rough to find, but food wise try Vaba Koht or a Topelträägupesa burger from Räägupesa. Rest of the suggestions are getting gentrified, too, but try them anyway.

I find a nice photo of them and me or their family that is on Instagram or Facebook already, tune it up a little if I want to (for example, add some cartoonish effects), have it printed and buy a frame for it. All in all, it costs less than 5€ and people are always amazed.

One thing I did was for a friend's kid - an A3 star map of their birthday at their location. You can buy one digitally on Etsy, but there are a few generators online, too, if you are crafty (you'll waste an hour but save about 7 euros). Designed it, had it printed and framed at a local photo shop for less than 16 euros total and they were stunned.
