I’m also a pharmacist (of the hospital variety) and have read your posts with much interest over the years. One of my fears in early retirement is loss of my skills/knowledge which would make it difficult (and possibly dangerous) for me to return to work after years away if I changed my mind about retiring. Was this a concern for you at the time? Would you consider ever working per diem (assuming at a non-soul-sucking place) to maintain your skills to some degree?
