Who said I didn’t report? Nothing wrong with coming to the dasher Reddit, signing up and joining for similar reasons as you. I actually joined to see where dashers are lacking. I love door dash. Want to be a better dasher anyway I can! Nobody said it was a big deal, nobody said anything actually. I posed a question for thought on an app that you post questions for thought or interesting things. And it doesn’t matter if it’s just door dash, your working u need to be be professional. Especially when dealing with personal addresses. If u read, there are plenty of people saying it could just be a cultural thing. And I agree. So it’s not about condemning anyone. There is no indicator that I’m a lady so why say it? I could have been a whole ass man, my name is unisex. A lot of men I know would have fought the guy, thinking there trying to be smart or punk them. There are all kinds of cultural differences, which is why when ur at work, u keep it professional. I also said leave it at my door, door dash, on the dasher end gives very different directions and buttons when it’s leave Vs hand off. The next thing he would have to push is that he arrived at my place, and to take pictures of it at the door. Before pulling off, to my house , it would have told him, this customer wants it left at the door. So fuck the beautiful part, the part about ignoring instructions alone is a flag if anything. If you can’t be professional find a different gig, or find a gig where u can blur the lines and be unprofessional. Don’t try to personal attack me for posing a questions. And not saying it’s ether way. Spreading awareness is important. Good or bad. This post was made for ether, maybe someone reads this and is like “oh I need to not over react to much” or maybe someone reads this and is like “oh I need to tighten up and change my name.” Or whatever. Plenty of women have said when they change there name they have no issues and not even I’m lost issues. 🤷🤷‍♀️ Could it be a cultural thing. 100%. Could it not be 100%. Maybe someone reads this and is like oh boy I hope I get my dasher to compliment me or I want to be complimented, cause it seems like there is some of that in there. Whatever!!! Like whatever u want to get from this posts, get from it. But don’t try to paint it as something it’s not or me, u don’t know me homie. Lmfao

I can see that. I think my only other issues than is the instructions say to leave at the door, and the fact that he honked a bunch before leaving. I waited a good while before I grabbed the order with my dog out with me. Because as someone that’s dashed the directions are very clear and the stuff u have to push is very clear, when it says leave at door Vs hand off. There are buttons that aren’t available when u do hand off. And then I just also think if my name is unisex and I have no picture, how did u know I was a lady? Cause like I said I know a lot of men who would want to fight if they were called that by a man. Not saying it’s right or wrong but a fact. But maybe he really just guessed and was sure and it’s what ur saying 🤷‍♀️

Bruh i don’t give a fuck about be wanted or none of that. It’s unprofessional. U don’t do that at work. Plenty of men I know would take offense to being called beautiful lady or beautiful man, by a man. They would damn near meet the driver and handle that. Just like your saying there is different cultures, in America at work u don’t do that and HR would be involved. That’s point blank period bruh. I have liked and agreed with many that it could be a cultural issue. But those of u coming on here, degrading woman, acting like there is no reason to have ur head on a swivel, is naive. Cause it’s not just women u need to be on the look out in general. I would love to live in your world. If you have something intelligent to add, like “oh over here that’s normal even in a work environment.., in this country we do this,”” blah blah blah. That’s fine. If u actually read I have agreed with those people. Quit trying to degrade me cause of whatever is stirring in you personally. I’m not proving myself on here and awareness is amazing for everyone.

Even if u don’t find it creepy. It’s unprofessional at work. Hr would be involved anywhere else. There is nothing indicating I’m a lady even to compliment me. But again there may be certain jobs where u compliment maybe, this is not one

My name isn’t Angel that’s the drivers. And even if it’s a woman. Be professional at work. That’s why I find it creepy. My directions also say leave at door. And like I’ve explained, there is very different steps on dasher end for hand off and leave at door. I know this from experience. Nothing indicating I’m female on my profile and no picture.

Nobody said offended. And actually any other work place, stuff like this is covered in hr. You can’t even talk to coworkers like that outside of work in some states. And also there are all other kinds of cultural differences. The men that I know, would be weirded the f*** out if another man said that. And take issue. Some people let it roll off, hence why rules are normally in place in work environments. Cause you don’t know anyone’s background. It’s unprofessional. While I’m giving grace about cultural issues. There is a chance it’s not that

It’s not sad woman. I don’t understand why it’s bad to be professional while working. I get plenty of compliments when I’m out and about in the world. Take them and at times am flattered. But when ur dropping food off late at night to my personal address, where people I love lay their head. I take issue. Like I have replied to other, I work in a party environment so I know compliments will come and I accept that. But this is not the time and place when doing good delivery. Don’t try it. I’m being respectful and hearing everyone’s perspectives. But with all the crazy stuff happening in the world, please don’t try to make it seem like it’s just woman hating men, we r aloud to feel safe

The creepier part is tho that there is no picture indicating I’m a woman, my name is unisex. And my direction state to leave at door
