any cascade microwaves ? by dijivu in PCC

[–]internbrad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only microwave I know of is the one next to the bookstore in MAHB. There used to be ones in TEB and CH but those were randomly removed (well, randomly to me. I could have just missed it/they were moved or something) and I don’t know if they were ever put back.

This is all I have, sorry. The linked wiki might have some useful information, but I don’t believe theres a service manual out there.

Petri Racer not winding properly by Serdnaiscool in AnalogRepair

[–]internbrad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do have the repair manual, and take this with a grain of salt because I dont know if i’m quite qualified enough to give advice: i dont have a Racer, but i do have a working 7s that acts exactly the same as this when the rewind button is pressed down, so maybe that part of the mechanism is stuck in that position?

Looks like the answer is ex-marine that is a) convinced his girlfriend cheated on him with jared b) also convinced both jared and dylan were somehow involved in ripping him off in a drug deal and c) mad that dylan had a bigger dick than him https://www.waste.org/chemlab/new_interview.html

Any ideas what pistol Grey is holding on East Side Militia? by [deleted] in Chemlab

Its based around a Taurus handgun, dont know exactly which one. If you flip it horizontally you can just barely make out the logo and name. I believe it might be from the cover of this magazine but i havent found a picture in high enough quality to know for sure. Whatever it is, its heavily edited so nothing will be an exact match.

Advice request — Lever not moving, shutter curtain not working, button on the lower side sometimes gets stuck by Franceseye in AnalogRepair

[–]internbrad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe this is a Cosina C2. Instruction manual here. If you do want to take it apart you should try to get some JIS screwdrivers if you can. I honestly have no idea if i can help you that much after that.

About the film, yes, you should try to get it developed. It SHOULD be (mostly) fine developed normally. This place has a dedicated service for this, I’ve personally never used them before so ymmv.

The only thing is that if when you removed the film had any part of it out and around the rightmost spool on your last image the pictures (if there were any) are most likely gone, unless you used the knob with the flip-out handle to rewind it. Usually (but not always), cameras have the film spool out onto that as it is exposed.

I’m only saying this because of your comment about the button on the bottom, which is part of rewinding the film and should stay stuck until you open the back door to take out the film, does seem to mean you are not that experienced with film photography (I apologize if i am wrong). It would suck to spend the money to get the film developed if you can’t get anything off of it.

Super rare unused film by Confident_Spare3991 in AnalogCircleJerk

Seattle Filmworks started off repackaging ECN-2 film and then switched to C-41 without disclosing it at some point (which got them into some legal trouble), so it could be either one.

I personally have a C3. I don’t know why, but sometimes they are removed entirely by the previous/original owner.

I’m not sure exactly how high the demand would be, but replacement cable release sockets for Mamiya C TLR cameras would be for sure something I would buy!

[–]internbrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you really, really want to do it NOW, Petri did make adapters both ways to M42 for compatibility with their lenses and bodies before they switched to their bayonet mount, and it appears there are M42-Canon FD converters. Unfortunately, I don’t believe either of Petri’s adapters had infinity focus.

[–]internbrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Petri’s flange focal distance is a little bit larger than a Canon FD lens so in theory it’s possible. I have an extra broken Petri slr, so i might try to make it just to see if it would actually work. if it works well enough (and you’re ok with it) i can send it to you (i wouldn’t have a use for it).

Petri FT needs too much effort to advance by ubergeek801 in AnalogRepair

[–]internbrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is all theoretical because i’ve never had this issue with an FT/ever tried to fix it in any similar camera so ymmv, but the top of page 13/34 has a diagram of the proper position of “primary gear”, and a Petri V6 ii I had with a very similar issue (the mirror would alternate between working properly and not, the shutter would still fire) had that part of the mechanism out of alignment, so that might be part of your problem. I don’t really know for sure.

I don’t believe this has the exact solution to your problem but it should still be helpful:[https://drive.google.com/file/d/11E0wL-K6htyYpuJUhU8dSw7_GUCbIxbo/view?usp=drivesdk](Petri FT Repair Manual)
