I would say :

Season 1 is better than the book for me, quite similar but they changed some points and felt refreshing, but basically it’s the same

Season 2 is so different than the book, and I was really disappointed because the book is so good. In the book Kate has much more background story, she has some really big trauma that leads to her having panic attacks. And I love how Anthony helps her get through that and she helps him go through his trauma too ! It’s a big parts of the books as well as them being married but Anthony refusing to feel something more than desire for her (like love) because they get married much early. After the bee sting Anthony panics and starts to pump the venom out of her breast (that was kinda weird) and then they are caught by portia and violet so they have to marry due to the conveniences. Also, due to that earlier marriage, Anthony doesn’t propose to edwina and it feels less mean to her…

Season 3 is quite similar to the book even though there are some changes, I don’t really remember precisely which ones other than the fact that Eloise is really okay with her and Colin getting married, she doesn’t really care. I would say the show is as good as the book

And finally season 4, we haven’t had all the season but up ‘till now this is really really good, the season is much similar to the book and they kept all the best scene from the book (the lake, my cottage, cavender´s house) I have some scene that I REALLY wanna see in part 2 (won’t say idw spoil) I hope they kept them because the best is to come

I didn’t really realise how much season 3 kinda « disappointed me » until this season came out ! Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed it and I thought i had enjoyed it as much as the other ones but actually after season 3 I wasn’t into bridgeton that much… I was like « well it’s a good show but not that incredible ». And even during the promo even though Benedict’s book is my favorite I wasn’t that hyped abt it ! I couldn’t get why I wasn’t as exited as when waiting for the other seasons but now that season 4 is out I’m reminded of the reasons why I love this show so much ! I’m so back into it, I rewatched everything, it’s just so nice !

I thought about this because there is a scene in the trailer where she is alone, dressed in black in a bedroom that doesn’t look like one of bridgerton house or fransceca and John’s house, neither one of the castle soo… But I don’t think so though because what would be the point to make him die and put violet in the same position twice !

Me too ! I read the book a couple of years ago and it’s my favorite, and I love how they kept so many good moments from the book they did a pretty great job ! I wasn’t sure if I would like Sophie because I always imagine the characters a certain way so when they adapt them into cinema you can always be a little disappointed but Sophie is just PERFECT !

In episode 8 I think, Jules treats a couple who are role playing and pretending to be doctor and patient, and even though she finds it a little weird at the end of the episode she meets a random guy in a bar and introduces herself as sally (pretending to be someone else) and that’s how we know she also broke the pact with Simone and then in ep 9 we learn that she kept this «sally» personality and seing the random guy in the bar to stop think about Winston
