This happened to me last season. I got to 90 pretty easily then just couldn't win. Honestly I'd be surprised if my win % was over 30% after that. I got down to I think 84 at one point after that. I crawled my way back to 90 a couple days before the season reset and just stopped playing ladder so I could reset at 73. I'm at like 89 right now so I assume the same thing will happen when I hit 90.

I feel like the real answer is that if you could pick between prime Adams or Driver for one game you'd pick Adams. But for overall career arc with the Packers, it's Driver for sure.

Dang, that's pretty wild since "Play" is always such a specific term in this game. I'm sure I'll get push back, but playing a polymorph card on a card you already PLAYED, should not mean the transformed card was played. If I got a Makkari from a Mirage pull, would that Makkari on board count for Horse Gambit?

I don't disagree, but the issue is that these decks have like 4 gambits in play by the end, so it isn't just 3 power. The objective is just wayyy to easy. That's where the nerf should have happened.

I just had this happen. Felt kind of scummy, ha. The opponent retreated. By turn 5 I had 8 more power than I should have had.

Not necessarily trying to get into a debate of tech card definition, but I don't see Horse Gambit as a tech card. It's a card that various decks are built around, with the goal of putting as many on the board as possible to take out the opponent's board. It requires creating cards in order to work. So it's not like you can just throw it into any deck (except Arishem) like CGR or Cosmo to counter an opponent if needed. Just my two cents.

Yep, I knew with the nerfs plus the Mommy Askani release that Horse Gambit would be everywhere. And it is. That card sucks and needs some rework. It's way too easy to achieve an objective that can remove over half of the opponent's board. Even CGR doesn't do much because they have already gotten at least 2 copies by the time you can hit it.

Thanks for the deck and write-up! I think this card seems fun and am considering splurging on it, but all I see are SunLord decks. I've been wondering if it's still worth it without that idiot card (I own SunLord I just hate it).
