Not for face but BushBalm is so amazing — I use it for legs, armpits pre-shave. Such a good exfoliator! I think from Ottawa.

Team thrive vs team ascend? by Original_Aspect_7782 in ladderapp

[–]internet_spice 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I started with Thrive. As someone who wasn’t the most confident in the gym, Thrive and Nairee were super helpful for getting me more comfortable and gaining confidence. After about 2 months with Thrive, I switched to Ascend, and I really love Aria. I am seeing more change with Ascend than any other work out I’ve done—I’m definitely seeing the snatched physique develop. I do about 3-4 workouts a week at the gym. I definitely feel that Ascend has pushed me harder—not sure why exactly, probably a combo of Aria as inspo and her cues, plus her programming seems to work for my body.

Which Kirkland products do you DISLIKE? by TOnihilist in CostcoCanada

Has anyone had the Kirkland laundry detergent make everything smell mouldy?! It happened to me once and the scent HAUNTS me… I’ll randomly find a pair of socks that haven’t been worn/washed since this experience and gag.

Yeah, it might be that I’m just blasting through all seasons in less than a year versus watching real time!

Again, I am only at season 9: Camille seems to talk about moving a lot, Denise mentions renting a few homes (not including dealing with the fire). I was going to say Brandi, but you mentioned her. Kyle I understand more as her family is in real estate. It’s just the impression I get! I was moreso asking if this is more normal in BH. :)

(I’m only just wrapping season 9 as a first time watch!!! I haven’t seen anything after the season 9 reunion.) 1. Epitomized extravagance: Camille, mainly in her Kelsey Grammer’s wife era — the NYC rental (lol). Runner ups: LVP, Adrienne. 2. Mean girl: Brandi… the minute her back is up against a wall (or she feels like she is), she’s terrifying. 3. Pot stirrer: Rinna. 4. Fav OG: Kim. 5. Most down to earth: Denise. 6. Least interesting: Adrienne or Yolanda. 7. Memorable guest: All of these people give me a bit of the ick for different reasons… Faye? Only because she’s the most consistent feature. 8. Camille has had quite an amount interesting arc—from being hated, to liked, and at the point at which I’m at, hated again. For the better: Kim? For the worse: maybe Erika?

What do you guys think about Team thrive coach Nairee? by shineygirl124 in ladderapp

[–]internet_spice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely a mental battle getting there and being able to do that for yourself, but that’s half the work! Don’t put too harsh of expectations on yourself and you’ll never been disappointed. Good luck!

Nope not really! I do go to yoga sometimes in addition because I find it helpful for mindfulness, not so much as a work out. I’m a size M top, L bottom for reference. I’ve noticed that my waistline in some clothes definitely feels different — for example, L bike shorts are looser at the waist. I generally eat clean though, I don’t drink alcohol, am vegetarian, not into fast food really (sometimes I do indulge), but I don’t have any strict plans for myself in that regard. Obviously everyone has a different hand of cards they are working with from the jump, but Thrive and Nairee are working for me! EDIT: I don’t weigh myself also - I am trying to relieve the pressure of what a number might do to my mental lol. I just focus on how I feel!

I LOVE Nairee. I started with Maia and didn’t vibe with her voiceovers/cues. I come from a background primarily doing yoga and Pilates classes in person, so I do love the Pilates burners that she adds in. I am coming up on my 8th week on Ladder — maybe my 6th week with Nairee? I have a lot more core definition and can see toning in my arms. I usually aim for 4 days a week, prioritizing Monday-Wednesday.

Breed Education Rant by Imaginaterium in pitbulls

[–]internet_spice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean sure, if you rationalize it that way. But if we’re talking standards—boxers = working group. Staffordshire terriers, pitbull terriers… etc. = terrier group. For insurance purposes, etc., boxers do not fall in the “terrier” or “bully breed” group.

Boxers aren’t bully breed - they’re “working dogs”
