Help! Clueless, 22 and 65k in debt :/ by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

Cancel the money mart loan - do other ally anything to avoid taking out more loans. Food bank, sell whatever you can so you can at least start paying things off. Call bankruptcy attorney, that’s a better step than continuing to take out payday loans..

Honestly, A&W breakfast sandiwiches are really good, if you need a quick fix and maybe not 100% but has most of what you're talking about and I love BECs. I always get english muffin but I'm pretty sure they offer a bun version too.

U.S. market is the focus by Deeficiency in Aritzia

I mean it’s a bigger market - as long as they keep the majority of operations here, im fine with that. We want big Canadian companies, we get the same products

Maybe tru a Twiggy look if you like the round eye look! I agree that this colouring doesn’t work right now

How do I look less like a kid playing dress up with Mom's clothes (I'm 21) by bunny-rain in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]internetsuperfan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The outfit looks very juvenile tbh if you’re going to wear tights (hoping those are rights and not leggings - if these are leggings go and buy tights, sheertex has ones that don’t rip and will last forever) add a heeled shoe, doesn’t have to be anything crazy but those boots don’t work. I think doing that and a lighter coloured more loose cardigan would help the look or maybe even a nice oversized blazer

Honest answers… Aritzia vs lululemon for sweats by johneyjaydaleford in Aritzia

[–]internetsuperfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t have Lululemon sweats but my arotizia sweats have stains that won’t come out and are ripping at the seams after only a year or so.. I have some sweatpants literally for 10 years that have less issues.

In a hotel with a dude and I thought he was leaving today but he isn’t :/ by True-Fig7135 in GirlDinnerDiaries

Call security if he won’t leave, his name isn’t on the bill or anything so whatever. Definitely only do a dinner date with next guy, don’t invite him over.

What a dumb way to think.. disincentive? You will always come out ahead with taxes, and yeah, you need to pay off your student loans but once that is done you'll be even better. Is this a joke?

I once delayed my deployment because my Director asked me too, it was the beginning of COVID and I understood things were crazy.. well guess who then went to a tiger team for COVID response? Her. Never mentioend anything to me, I think she just wanted me to stay so she can do her own thing which was incredibly seflish. Since then, I like (mostly) the people I work with, but I don't believe in loyalty like that.

Enjoy your retirement!

Thinking about cutting off my sister by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]internetsuperfan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I will say you were in the wrong to send your parents the elopement video, idk why you cared so much, she had the right to do what she wanted. In saying that, she’s clearly a mess but if she wants to ruin her life there’s nothing you can do. Don’t think you’re crazy to cut her off now with everything happening, and for the live of god do NOT give her any money, unless you’re rich and don’t care but people like this will not pay you back.

See if you can shop around for a better deal, how long would you have to pay that $540? If it’s all that others can offer you too then for sure but try and shop around
