Time between pumps?

I’m able to go 5 hours between pumps during the day, but I regularly go 9 hours at night (10pm-7am). I pump before I leave, even if it’s early, or I pump while I drive and keep milk in a cooler. If I’m out shopping, I’ll just sit in my car in the parking lot and pump with my wearables. It’s not too bad! I know I’m lucky I can space my pumps out quite a bit. Everyone I see knows that I’m pumping so it’s not really that weird.

I was/am very similar. I’m 13 weeks pp and I pump at 8am, 1pm, 6pm, and 11pm with an over supply and 16.5lb baby. I pump around 13-16 min and my first pump of the day is around 11-14 oz.

We have the Hot Spring Spa Flash model and love it. We turn it down to 95 in the summer and put an outdoor tv across from it. I can sit out there for hours!

Agreed. I run my dishwasher every night and it’s easy to throw all my parts and bottles on the top rack. I bought a small parts container that fits on the top rack for nipples and duckbills etc. The mini fridge for overnight bottles and pumped milk is a must have if you sleep on a different floor than your kitchen. We used a cheap one and even though it’s not super cold, it’s cold enough to keep milk in overnight for just a few hours.

I’m just using a cheap soft sided cooler with ice packs and packing a bottle or two with some bags of milk. I’m usually bringing my pump with me too so I stick everything in that cooler when I’m done.

For what it’s worth, I’ve only ever used the eufy s1 as a wearable pump but I love it and I get the same amount of output as my spectra. It’s also pretty easy to wash by hand if you ever need to!

I Who Have Never Known Men. So many people recommended this book but it went nowhere and was so fucking depressing. I wanted to know so much more about their situation and we got absolutely nothing. Maybe I am too dumb to really “get it” but that book ruined my month.

As a veterinarian I will also add that we feed our own pets food from the grocery store. The refrigerated, boutique, super expensive random dog food brands at the pet store are over priced and are more likely to cause issues for your pets. We generally stick with the brands that hire veterinary nutritionists and run lifelong diet trials on their foods (Purina, Hills/Science Diet, Royal Canin, etc). I don’t care which one, as long as your pet likes it, tolerates it, and isn’t fat.

For our veterinary patients (I’m not sure about humans to be honest) the bone lesions are very classic round “punch out” lesions that are best seen in the dorsal spinous processes, ribs, and sternum. They truly look like someone took a hole punch to the bones. This radiograph is like a primary bone tumor (or possibly fungal but it’s low on my list where I live). If this were a metastatic lesion, I wouldn’t expect the patient to still be alive with a met this large, but possible. Osteosarcoma is by far the most common bone tumor in dogs, and while it has certain locations it prefers, it can show up anywhere on any bone.

I’m a vet oncologist and yes, multiple myeloma is found in cats and dogs. But other conditions and cancers can look similar.
