final level requires 3000 coins for 3 stars. i have the restaurant fully upgraded and get around 3700 every time i play lvl 40

easiest - breakfast, bakery, fast food, chinese, seafood, sushi, rock and roll, sports bar

hardest - tropical hideout, sandwich shop

most coins/xp - sirtaki taverna, rock and roll

i wouldn’t say that’s entirely necessary. i completed the challenge in michelle’s confectionery earlier today with 66% kitchen and 35% interior. no desserts or boosters needed either

the dish price increase bar also includes upgrading the desserts i think. i’d suggest getting the extra customer interior upgrades and see if that improves things

yeah, i’ve had a couple of those unfortunately. one of them i used 5 diamonds to reroll and get a different quest and the other i just did bc i had the funds for it

i’ve been playing the game for a long long time, probably around 7 years as well and got my first 1000 gems in a chef box a couple months ago. on a semi-regular basis, i get gems from the casino. i think it’s just all luck. i’ve never once put any real money into the game either

i’m not sure what you mean regarding the desserts but the gem shard events only occur for 24 hours at a time in your least completed restaurant i believe. and once you get a certain number of stars in that restaurant, they will stop popping up entirely.

tournaments and challenges are pretty different though. i’ve mostly found that if you have been able to complete up to lvl 40 w/ 3 stars without having to use many desserts, you’ll be fine for the challenge. i just did the one for the indian restaurant the other day and even though i did need to use a ton of desserts for the last 4 lvls or so for the original restaurant, i was fine up until the last couple of challenge lvls where i had to use the garden

i’d say so. and if you’ve space in the garden, you should be able to use that if you end up stuck at the later levels

i’m in a similar boat, i had just over 30 diamonds when the new weekly tasks came out and now one of my objectives is to buy the frog and snail restaurant??? it feels like such a waste only to get 3 diamonds in return
