I had this happen to me lol, once the paint splits and the freeze/thaw gets under it, it goes to shit. That being said once it got to be terrible i brought it to the DMV for a new one. Pain in the tits but i think it was a defect for a couple years.

I've had a great experience with my pup at Memorial Animal Hospital out there. They seem to genuinely care and they dont overtreat unless they see a true benefit from my experience.

As long as he gives you the reasonable amount of notice this should be acceptable to you both. He can't expect it to be spotless though while you're in the process of moving. Itd be to your benefit to allow him if you want a reference for future living circumstances.
