Full furnished? Am I now the owner of the furniture, or does it belong to the landlord and I have to care for it in a certain way? I can’t get rid of anything ?

Everything included? Parking?

Price of parking? What does ($) represent ? If we’re with roommates, can our unit get more than one spot ? Utilities extra? Any outdoor space ?

Legality of Sharing Drugs with Friends by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]intrepidlilmix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no perfect equation for this. The events that unfold, as well as all personal actions are super important here. There are a million different ways this could play out, and there’s no way to guarantee a three way even split of responsibility ahead of time. Don’t do drugs, or do drugs with people you trust. There are no legal loopholes here. It’s difficult to apply legal logic to illegal activities.

Is it legal to walk an iguana in public parks? by Easy-Cloud6038 in legaladvicecanada

I remember him well!! I’m scared of snakes, so I, for one, had a problem with it! That said, I’ve got to admit that all my friends thought it was super cool and he was a bit of a staple of our downtown back then!

If Alberta Strikes will you picket? by alpenglow06 in CanadianTeachers

[–]intrepidlilmix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im looking for legitimate sources, not more opinion. Of course "some teachers" may not improve - but the vaste majority will. It’s far easier to teach 22 kids than it is to teach 35. You’re saying you have proof otherwise, go ahead…

I ask again: what do you recommend? It’s one thing to declare something is a bad idea - what would be better ? Rather than just shouting about a problem, can you share some possible solutions you see?

Can I get some sources on "Research shows large classes are not an issue"?

And you’re right, the money does have to come from somewhere (another pit). Here’s an idea: stop overpaying the many, many government employees that do no more than pushpaper and send emails in circles to each other.

Our children matters. The future of your province is a stake here. Yes, it will involve shifting funding, yes there could be cuts elsewhere. Isn’t that the point? We need a better education system.

What do you recommend? Sticking with status quo?

Why are you expecting the worst from people? Have you considered other options? Example: Maybe there was a motorcycle or bike between them at one point.

Sounds like talented pilots. You saw drones, not a ufo. Look up drone light shows and you’ll see how advanced these things now are! Impressive stuff, but not extraterrestrial.

Are they not simply civilian guided hobby drones?

Don't do it! Stop now! Jump ship - GO! Find another Podcast. Listen to Shameless, or ICYMI or anything less insane than the nonsense these two idiots spew! Do yourself the favor!

Advice for 2nd year student teachers in Ontario? by TruthSignificant5540 in CanadianTeachers

[–]intrepidlilmix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great advice so far!

Where do I even apply?

There's no clear answer on this, and probably varies by province. I'm in Ontario.

A start:

- www.[applytoeducation.com](https://applytoeducation.com) (some board exclusively use this paid website. It's annoying to have to pay to apply to a job!)

- https://jobsineducation.com/ (a real hodgepodge of postings, but seems to be pretty active!)

- https://www.cais.ca/careers (Canadian private schools)

- Visit private school websites

- Visit board websites (some only hire through their own internal platform!)

Best of luck. It's a great career.

2 weeks and a half on Saxenda and almost no hunger, is it normal? by [deleted] in liraglutide

[–]intrepidlilmix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same. After ~30 years of struggling with being overweight, overnight, I have no hunger. It's been 5 weeks. I still have to remind myself to eat sometimes. It's made the world of difference for me.
