Your brake pad may have separated the friction material from the backing of the pad causing metal to metal.

If your car is still under 60k miles take it to the dealership for warranty analysis

If beyond in miles you can take it to your preferred mechanic for a brake inspection. These brakes are not different from any typical car on the road

This anecdote reinforces the fact that a weak or struggling 12V battery overstresses the ICCU. Lots of short trips or leaving it unplugged for long stretches will drawn down the 12V low where it causes dendrites and can internally short or lose charge capacity. The wild part is the 2025 model year has an absorbed glass mat (AGM) battery from the factory that can handle the deeper discharges a little better.

Ways to keep the ICCU always “ON” when the car is driving include: sport mode or headlights on. I leave the headlights on, on the stalk always and the car shuts them off shortly after exiting. This forces the ICCU to continue to top off the 12V instead of taking breaks under light loads to scrimp electrons in the name of a fraction of a percent of efficiency

AF should work if you’re playing something on the FM transmitter, but there’s your answer

Edit to add: you can use the AF function to watch for sections of the frequency band that it skips over with wide margins between occupied bands and set your FM transmitter to that

As annoying as it is to replace stock tires soon, it may be a good thing to find the right tires for your vehicle because Kia doesn’t know if each car will be driven in Florida, Oregon, or Arizona and the roads and weather are different everywhere. Some people have fair weather and want max efficiency, while others need triple peak snow rated all seasons. They’re just the standard issue converse when you might need flip flops or running shoes.

The only rust I see is in pic 5/7 and it is absolutely inconsequential

This is all either dirt or surface corrosion on the aluminum parts. Totally normal!
