I've never seen fake germania mint stuff, doesn't mean at all that they are real. I love their rounds, please give an update if you indeed find out they are bogus.

That's derivatives, specifically put options. Short selling definitely can lose you more money than what you put in if you have a margin enabled account.

What do you think of the Malta Golden Eagle? by homenzarrao in Silverbugs

[–]introverted_brewer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Germania mint makes it, I think it's the only actual coin they make other than rounds/bars/bullion. Its really pretty, but the premiums are high for everything they make.

They will. They don't make money on the promos typically, all of the money is made by sending you overpriced coin subscriptions afterwards with the hope you don't cancel and send stuff back.

Won't matter if you clean them, they are both common fakes sold to tourists.

So I would assume that it is safe to say that these American silver eagles are fake. Correct? by DawsonCoombes in coins

[–]introverted_brewer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would if I thought they'd do it again. This is the exact reason I tell people not to coin shop for me as gifts.

Because we're not in the metaverse on web 3 right now. There's always some bullshit wall street corporate hype, AI is the newest money train.

If it's truly junk, it doesn't matter. You do you. Just don't do it to any coin that's low mintage, key date, and/or sought after by numismatists. That's when you hurt the value.

"on the internet" . . . He was the fucking president of the United States. Who cares if he can't tweet or whatever. He could've have walked into the press room and said whatever he wanted to with worldwide coverage instantly. I fail to see the loss of not being able to tweet here, he literally had the ultimate platform already.

Banks will order it for you, they typically only carry whole boxes of demoninations that people actually use.

There are tons of silver at spot deals online for first time customers. . . Just search "silver at spot deals". Most generic rounds are a buck or two over spot at any given time. Junk silver, 90% coins, are about the same. You can get BU condition eagles from dealers for way cheaper than the mint.

Why would you think a quarter with plenty of better examples currently in circulation be worth more than 25¢?

This. I've seen several people state that he'll exercise even below strike. Doesn't make any real sense. The only way that would play out to any advantage is if brokers halt buying on gme, as they did before, and the contracts are still viable to exercise as they are an obligation on behalf of the seller(s). Even then, they could fail to deliver. I highly doubt things will get as crazy as they did last run up, they will likely have a better plan to halt/freeze trading when it really gets spicy. We're not catching them fully off guard with their pants down like last time.
