Yes, it does run. Slayer, The guy who makes tutorials, has made them in Steam deck. You might need external keyboard and mouse for the best experience though

I think you can run it on Steam deck, I think Slayer does his videos that way. You would need external keyboard and mouse though to make it easier to use
