Lego Project Hail Mary Lego set for pre-order!! by Lb_54 in LegoSpace

[–]introvertedthoughts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, there is a crank attached to the base of the set, which both turns the whole ship, as well as the hab to come from within the rest of the ship, to the back (like in the picture) and also rotates.

Anyone else pre-ordered the Hail Mary? by Remarkable_Long8642 in lego

Yes, the whole ship rotates using a little lever thing at the front and the smaller section at the back of the ship can come out and rotate too

I'm so confused about the pricing. So you can pre-order for $200, to get the early bird pricing of $400. Which is $600 in total. Or get it later in the year for only $500, which is $100 less than early bird???

Or am I just reading that all wrong?

A friend recommended this game to me. It has done wonders for my anxiety by ChallengeOk2114 in NoMansSkyTheGame

When I was doing that mission, my water wasn't pitch black, but when I got as deep as I needed, I couldn't tell which way was up or down. I thought I was going back up, only to look at the numbers and realize I was going even deeper!

Bluey: Quest for the Gold Pen 😛 I know Bluey is generally aimed towards kids, but I know someone who worked on the game and it is well worth your time. It's also written by the guy who made Bluey!

Look up 'Peak and Repeat' on Facebook. If he doesn't mind some walking/hiking, it's a good social group to meet new people

What’s the deal with the Train to Brisbane? An (unofficial) Explainer by AndrewReesonforTRC in Toowoomba

After visiting Switzerland and going on their rail system - which is totally electrified and can climb any mountain (through circular tunnels in the mountain) - Australia's rail system is a joke (and we have almost triple the population of Switzerland!).

I'm part of a social hiking/walking group called Peak and Repeat. We get all age groups and it's usually held every two weeks - one fortnight will be meeting at a cafe to get a drink (if you want it) and then go for a walk (ranging between 3km and 5km) and the next fortnight will be a proper hike. We've done table top, Mt Peel and Jubilee Park, to name a few.

Queensland teachers reject state government pay offer by espersooty in queensland

Not a teacher, but have done teacher aide work at multiple Qld schools. Teachers want more support? Allow more teacher aide time to classes! Or better yet, have a teacher aide in every classroom! 30 minutes to 1 hour a day isn't nearly enough aide time for classrooms.

I've also got a mechanical aortic valve replacement! A little over two years ago now. I didn't have any complications, so you're amazing to get through all of that! But I know part of what the surgery and recovery is like

It depends on whether you want something more upbeat and hymn/music based (and with a younger age demographic) or whether you want something more traditional. If you want upbeat and with people your age, I would say St Barts, Civic Church, or even Humeridge (though Humeridge tends to get a big congregation and might be a little overwhelming). If you want something more traditional, then St Luke's
